2015-2016 Nothing But Net

VEX 6260 had a rebuilding year concentrating on team organization and leadership development of a new captain. Team welcomed several new students and work diligently toward the challenge. Best lesson learned was develop a plan and design and most importantly a “no more good ideas” date. The 2015-2016 season was the last season VEX 6260 competed with the team name Minos


VEX Robotics Competition Nothing But Net is played on a 12 ft x 12 ft foam-mat, surrounded by a sheet-metal and lexan perimeter. There are one hundred and four Balls which teams can Score into Goals; teams also score points for Elevating their partners above various heights. Two Alliances – one “red” and one “blue” – composed of two teams each, compete in each Match. The object of the game is to attain a higher score than the opposing Alliance by Scoring your Balls and Bonus Balls in your Low and High Goals, and by Elevating Robots in your Climbing Zone.
