Middleton Robotics

Middleton Robotics is an extracurricular activity based at Middleton Magnet High School in Tampa, FL. Middleton robotics fields 4 competitive robotics teams in 3 separate programs: FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), FIRST Technical Challenge (FTC), and VEX Robotics Competition.

Minotaur Robotics Mission Statement – “Middlton Robotics exists to inspire ours and future generations to become excited about science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) through For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) and VEX Robotics programs.” This mission statement has set us on the path to encouraging growth in the community while at the same time instilling a sense of being and accomplishment in our current and future students.

Middleton Robotics Vision Statement – “To foster all FIRST, VEX, and other educational robotics relationships and growth of teams in the Hillsborough County School District.” We will become the premiere robotics program in the Tampa Bay area and also one of the premier programs in the nation. We have a solid strategic vision of what we want to accomplish. At Middleton we strongly believe that what we learn is much more important than what we win. We do want to win and will apply all our resources towards those goals. However, we define success by how much we give back and how many of our students continue their education after high school. For us, successful future students go a long way, farther than trophies in a cabinet, and we believe our current Middleton students will all be successful in their future endeavors.
