Middleton Magnet High School STEM Booster Club

Prior to 2014 each of the clubs that now fall under the umbrella of the Middleton Magnet High School STEM Booster Club (MMHSSBC) were in control of its own financial oversight and fundraising. In addition, fundraising (other than traditional candy sales, etc.) was difficult as none of the clubs were a 501(c)(3) organization and so contributors were reluctant to donate without the ability of deducting their contribution from their federal income tax return. In 2104 a group of parents meet with the administration of Middleton Magnet High School and decided that there was need for a STEM Booster Club-both to facilitate fundraising and also to instill better budgeting policies and financial procedures and oversight for the STEM clubs and organizations of Middleton Magnet High School.  MMHSSBC is a volunteer organization whose board members consist of parents and faculty at Middleton Magnet High School, all of whom donate their time and resources in order to keep the administrative costs of MMHSSBC extremely low.
